ABOUT MEGAN

Be funny, and say yes to everything, even if it means riding a donkey while playing the oboe in a onesie.

Megan has entertained people for as long as she can remember. Her family moved every two years when she was a kid so what began as a survival mechanism in order to survive being the new kid in school, quickly became Megan’s “raison d’être”.  Megan figured out that the fastest way to make friends was to be funny, and say yes to everything. That included doing every extracurricular activity possible, which landed her on centre stage playing Peter Pan in grade 6.  Megan played the part of Peter so realistically, she became know as Peter in the playground.  Perhaps no one really knew her real name, she was the new kid at school after all, but regardless, Megan knew she had found her calling.  And she hasn’t looked back.

Recent Acting Work

fun fact

When Megan was 8, she had to register herself under the name “Michael” so she could play in a hockey league, since girls were not allowed to play at that time.

It was a small town, so “Michael” was recognized as “a girl from my school”, but since she was the top scorer, she was allowed to stay on the team.

Megan played in that boys league for two seasons.  In the second season, she was no longer the only girl in the league.
